Concept for my Blood Angels Force

Sooo … I have finally decided to go with the Blood Angels. I already wrote down the 10 most important reasons for that, but I want to add final one: The Blood Angels Community of Players is very constructive and kind. So … before buying and building and painting and playing, I’d like to write down some thought regarding my own Force. It’s mostly for myself, to have a place where I can go and see again what my plan was.

There are some major inspirations and red lines I’d like to follow …

My 10 reasons for the Blood Angels

The Blood Angels already had a rough recent past with the Baal System being omnomnomed by Tyrandis, but things will get even worse with the 8th Edition: Nearly wiped out by the Tyrandis – and I can’t think of anyone better I would rather be wiped out by – only to be rescued in the last Moment by Roboute Guilliman and their personal Daemon of Khorne. To me, they’re the pinnacle of the Dark Millennium: devoted, strong, unforgiving and completely zealous in their quest to rid mankind of its flesh. Their extensive use of bionics as well as their baroque decorations and praise of technology are, to me, the core of the gothic setting of Warhammer 40,000.”
